Updated War Memorial Wall to Be Dedicated

MTU_6003

The campus community is invited to a dedication ceremony for the newly installed memorial wall which recognizes Michigan Tech alumni and those who attended but did not graduate, who gave their lives in Vietnam and in more recent conflicts.

The dedication event is planned for Tuesday, November 11 at 2 pm on the top floor of the Memorial Union Building.

The update was necessary as the original wall was installed when the building was dedicated in May, 1952 and therefore only included those who died during WWI, WWII and the Korean conflict. Thanks to the generous support of Michigan Tech faculty, staff, alumni and friends we were able to commission this new wall.
