I missed the link to send in first Tech snow memories. For what it’s worth, I remember my freshman year, when we all dressed up in our striped OshKosh B’gosh Pep Band overalls and gold sweatshirts with many layers of long johns underneath (no jackets on the field). Our fingers froze to our instruments and we trudged up the hill and got well into the football game only to have our hard-practiced halftime show cancelled because there was so much snow on the field, we couldn’t see the lines to guide our band formations! If memory serves it was the first game of the season. That would have been 1972.
