Another Fisher Hall tidbit …….. My Dad (Eino Reini) bought an old oak roll-top desk in the early 1960’s from Tech surplus. After they got it home and cleaned it out, they realized it had originally been Dr. Fisher’s desk as there were several letters to him in the drawers. It’s a beautiful old roll-top with a multitude of “pigeon holes” as they had back then. I used it through all of my years as a student at Tech, and it now remains in my house. I’m guessing it’s in the 100 year-old range? A nice piece of local and Tech history.
