Queen’s album “The Game”, which contains Another One Bites the Dust came out in June of 1980. This song was definitely played through the open windows of the Wadsworth Hall dorm rooms as the freshmen made their way to campus on the night of the first chemistry exam in September 1980. I lived there at that time and remember it distinctly.

Dennis,
The song, “Another One Bites the Dust” was released in 1980. I can verify that it could be heard blasting from the windows of Wads during the fall of 1981 when I was a freshman.

I know the song played in 1985. I was there….I am sure it was even earlier than that – as a Freshman it was well known that it was coming that day – so it must have already had a history.
