Following John Scott’s stellar performance at the All-Star Game, there’s now a move afoot to recognize him in a unique way. A radio station in Calgary – Q107 – has mounted a campaign to have John be the Grand Marshall for the 2016 Calgary Stampede Parade on July 8th. They are seeking 1,000 signatures on a petition pushing for John to be named Grand Marshall – currently they have more than 700.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with the Stampede, it is the World’s Largest Rodeo – billed as the “Greatest Outdoor Show On Earth.” There will be 500,000 on the parade route in downtown Calgary. Three years ago the Parade Marshalls were Price William & Princess Kate.
