Dan ’10 and Kaylee ’12 Madrid paid off all of their debt except for their house in a year and a half. “The best way to get out of debt, and stay out of debt, regardless of income, is to do a ‘zero-based’ budget every month. We no longer worry or fight about anything financial and have confidence in whatever life will throw at us. And you can bet your bottom dollar we still budget to this day, every single month.”
