2005 Class

AT tests

Hey Dennis!
I don’t remember all of the peoples names, but prof. John Gierke could fill them in. Rob Porritt is doing the test (squatting) while (starting from the left) I, Mike?, Gary Lawson, Katie (or Emily) Bendall, Cynthia, Meg Ross and Jill observe. This was part of the Aqua Terra Tech Enterprise, you can still find pictures of our Nicaragua trip online which we were preparing for in this photo.

Thanks!

I think the blond girl in the photo is Kristen Fuller, but I’m not quite sure. 2005 was the year I started at MTU. Several of those faces look familiar, in fact, I think they were mostly AFROTC cadets.

Hi Dennis,
I noticed the picture on the newsletter under fill in the blank. That’s me popping a squat with a magnetometer measuring the earth’s magnetic field. This was an exercise for the Aqua Terra Tech Enterprise where we learned about some methods of geophysical prospecting in preparing for a field campaign in Nicaragua.

Also pictured from left:
Kevin Jankowski
Mike McEachin
Gary Lawson
Katy (Bendall) Lindstrom
Cinthia (Solla) Mauldin
Meghan (Ross) Delorit
Jill (Barbour) Bruning

Not sure if others have had name changes, but the () are the maiden names of those I know are married.

Cheers,
Rob
