On August 18, 2016 Schmohz Brewery hosted the West Michigan chapter fish fry with walleye provided by Capt. Ken Glupker ’73, operator of Jireh Charters. His wife, Judy caught 70 walleye between charters, which netted 45 lbs. of fish, plenty to feed the 75 people attending this year’s event. Fishing raffle tickets were sold for a 1/2 day excursion with either Anderson Charters in Acadia on Lake Michigan or Jireh Charters in Au Gres on Lake Huron. Proceeds go to support the West Michigan Scholarship Fund. The winners will be drawn at the Spring Dinner 2017.
