Michigan Tech, in conjunction with streaming partner Stretch Internet, is pleased to announce that fans can now access live and on-demand streaming content though custom applications on Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and Android TV.

These apps will provide fans a seamless way to access content directly on their TVs – with no need to “relay” or “cast” the stream from tablets, phones or desktop computers. Users can access the content simply by searching for “Michigan Tech” on the app interfaces on any of the compatible platforms, and then downloading the free app.

Stretch is also implementing an HTML5 video player that has replaced the Flash-based player which was used in the past. This new player will result in a more universal experience (regardless of browser or device) and create a “snappier” playback for viewers.

Fans who have already purchased subscriptions can easily authenticate their subscriptions through the apps. Those who have not yet purchased subscriptions will need to first select and purchase a package from the Michigan Tech portal on any mobile or desktop device here.

Michigan Tech, along with the WCHA, is entering its third year as a partner with Stretch Internet. Huskies’ home games for football, soccer, volleyball, and men’s and women’s basketball are streamed live while all hockey games can be accessed through the WCHA TV Stretch Internet portal. More information on hockey viewing packages will be released at a later date. Below are the 2017-18 prices for Tech football, volleyball, soccer, and basketball.
