From Jennifer Trevillian: As a native of the small town of Sebewaing, I was very excited to see my hometown mentioned (and spelled correctly) in your article. I posted it on our hometown Facebook group and one of the gentlemen who is a former newspaper writer/reporter suggested that perhaps the name was spelled wrong. Shuke is not a normal Sebewaing surname. However, the German name Schuch was/is. Perhaps you can find a Daniel Schuch in the alumni list.

Note to Jennifer: We found three alumni named Shupe, but no Schuch or Shuke.
