Definitely the end of an era. My first time up in the Upper Peninsula (2001), I stayed the night in Marquette and spent a lot of that evening watching TV6, getting a bit of the local flavor. I remember that and the way the blue sky in the morning felt cold and clean and clear. There were commercials for Finland Calling, and I recall the old logo they had for the station, too, which somehow fit perfectly. Thanks for sharing this!
