Good Morning Dennis, I’m sure you followed the progress of the seasons Hockey from the regionals through the finals on Saturday. I’m sure I wasn’t alone pulling for Union to knock pull off an upset and would only have enjoyed it more if it had been our Huskies.

It must have borne more than a little resemblance to the ’75 finals when Tech defeated the Gophers 6 to 1.

Tech won in ’75 squaring off with Minnesota 3 years in a row ’74, ’75, and ’76 in finals. So, including ’56 and 60 the Huskies finished runners up four times, 4th in ’69 and ’70, and 3rd in ’81 last appearance. I’m confident that Mel and his program will return us to the our rightful place in the pinnacle in the not too distant future. Go Huskies.
