Appeal a Library Charge

If a borrower thinks the library has made an error in a charge on their account, or if a borrower experienced a unique or unavoidable situation preventing the timely return of borrowed library material, they may request an appeal. Library administration will review all appeals and advise the borrower if the charges have been upheld, reduced, refunded or forgiven. The appeal process generally takes 10 days.

Before requesting an appeal, please review the library's charge appealing policies.

Describe the materials, billing dates, and charged amounts.

Explain the circumstances why the charges should be reduced, refunded, or forgiven.
