Quad Core Fitness Center

The Quad Core Fitness Center (QCFC) is a residence hall student organization that has four facilities. In Wadsworth Hall there is a variety of weight machines and free weights and aerobic equipment which includes several treadmills, stationary bikes, steppers, etc. McNair Hall's facility is primarily a fitness room with several aerobic machines and a small amount of free weights. Douglass Houghton Hall and Hillside Place's facilities have a moderate amount of weight lifting and aerobic equipment.

Quad Core Fitness Center is open daily when the residence halls are open. Building access is restricted during semester breaks when the residence halls are not open for normal business.

Any student residing in campus housing is eligible to join this organization for a $60 annual membership fee. The membership includes 24-hour 'tap' access by using your Husky Card to enter the Quad Core Fitness Center. Students interested in becoming members can pay the $60 fee online at MyMichiganTech under the "Payments" tab. Students may also pay by check or cash at the Housing office, 153 Wadsworth Hall. Staff can use their TechFit benefit by filling out the form here and submitting it to the Housing office, 153 Wadsworth Hall.

Non-members caught using the Quad Core Fitness Center that live in on-campus housing will be charged a $40 fine, plus the membership fee of $60 if it happens during Fall semester, or $30 if it happens during the Spring semester. This fee will give them full membership to the Quad Core Fitness Center. Non-members that reside in off-campus housing that are caught using the Quad Core Fitness Centers will receive a $40 fine. Progressive penalties will apply for additional violations.
