Housing Sign-up

Room and board rates for 2021-2022 have not yet been approved by the Board of Trustees. Any increase in rates is not expected to exceed 3.5%. Final rates are expected following the last Board of Trustees meeting of the Spring 2021 semester.

Reminder

If you are receiving support through loans, grants, scholarships, parental support, or other means, please discus your housing plans with the appropriate people before you sign this University housing contract or any legally binding housing contract. A University housing contract cannot be used as a “back up plan” in case you do not find other housing off campus instead.

How to sign-up

  1. Read through the sign-up info and the log in to MyMichiganTech to start the registration process. (Make sure to turn off any pop-up blockers that might interfere with the process).
  2. Follow the directions and select a room.
  3. Electronically sign your contract

Live in the Same Room January 11, Noon to January 12, 11:00am
Displaced & Seniors (90+ Credits) January 12, Noon to 11:59pm
Juniors (60-89 Credits) January 13, Midnight to 11:59am
Sophomores (30-59 Credits) January 13, Noon to 11:59pm
Displaced First Year January 14, Midnight to 11:59am
First Years January 14, Noon to 11:59pm
Off-campus Students January 15

Sign-up closes at 11:59pm on January 21; After this date you may sign up by visiting 153 Wadsworth Hall.

Hillside Place

Waiting List opens February 1 at 9:00am. 

 

March 1 at 5:00pm

Waiting List: current, returning, graduate, and transfer students seeking residence hall housing will be considered after all first-year students are assigned.  Offers to residence hall waiting list students will be offered the first week of August after all first-year students are assigned.
