CEA Standards for the IESL and Institutions
There are forty-four standards that English language programs must meet to secure and maintain accreditation.
- The IESL is a member of English USA, also known as the American Association of Intensive English Programs. AAIEP promotes professional standards and quality in English programs.
- The IESL administrators are members of the Association of International Educators and participate in various NAFSA activities each year. ESL follows the NAFSA Code of Ethics.
- The IESL also follows the Core Standards of Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages, or TESOL.
