About C-Cubed Luncheons

During spring semester 2014, a group of faculty, staff, and administrators worked together to invent C-Cubed Lunches—the three Cs standing for Conversation, Community, and Collegiality. This is an opportunity to meet and get to know your colleagues in an easy, enjoyable fashion. All faculty and staff, along with their guests, are invited.

C-Cubed lunches are served buffet-style from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursdays throughout the school year in the Alumni Lounge in the Memorial Union Building, a space with lots of windows and a southern exposure. Menus are overseen by executive chef Eric Karvonen; he and his team bring their creativity and culinary skills to the task. There are no presentations, no agenda.

Lunch is $12. Cash, credit cards, and Dining Services gift cards (available in the Memorial Union office room 101) are accepted. Gift cards will need to be redeemed in the Memorial Union office room 101 prior to attending. You can bring your own lunch instead of purchasing the buffet. Coffee, tea, fruit-infused water, cookies, and fruit are free for all. All vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free items on the buffet are labeled for easy identification.
