Student and recruiter at MTU Career Fair

Talk with major employers. Students enrolled in the College of Computing (CC) and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) are invited to a Career Fair mixer on Sep. 20, 4-5:30 p.m., in the Rozsa Center.

The Office of Alumni Engagement is offering free professional headshots for students at the Fall Career Fair. A photographer from Brockit Inc. will be taking photographs Sep. 21, 2-6 p.m., in the SDC. Photos will be taken first come, first served.

Ed Kim, a serial tech entrepreneur who has founded, funded, and led several startups, will present a virtual talk on Sep. 28, 4-5 pm. Kim will share insights on commercializing innovations and lessons learned as an entrepreneur and an investor.

Computing[MTU] Showcase meme

Call for Posters: Computing[MTU] Showcase. Submit posters by Sep. 30, 12 am. The event takes place Monday, October 10, 2022, from 1-3 p.m., in MUB Ballroom A. Researchers in all Michigan Tech departments are invited to submit research posters. Prizes will be awarded at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Call for Abstracts: CEPE 2023-Human-AI Interaction and the Future: Values, Responsibilities, and Freedoms, invites submissions of extended abstracts for individual papers and proposals for symposia. Submissions on any topic on digital technologies are welcome, but, in keeping with the conference theme.

Seniors, Juniors Urged to Meet with Advisor

Spring 2022 course scheduling opens on October 23. Senior- and junior-level students are advised to see an academic advisor to review courses and degree requirements.  Schedule an appointment by October 21 to receive a free College of Computing t-shirt, while supplies last.

Computing Learning Center


Midterms are here before you know it. Get help now. The College of Computing Learning Center (CCLC), on the first floor of Rekhi Hall, Room 118, is staffed by upper-level undergraduate students and supported by the College of Computing. The friendly CCLC coaches are available to help succeed in your computing courses. No appointments are necessary. Free. Open to all students taking computing classes. This fall, the Learning Center is open Sunday-Friday according to the schedule here.
