On-campus Check-In – Rozsa Center for the Performing Arts (#10), Lobby

Collect your Open House materials, including a detailed schedule, brunch, and VIP passes. You may also check in on Saturday between 8 and 9 a.m. Free parking is available; follow the Open House signs. If you check in on Friday, you do not need to check in again on Saturday morning.

5:30–7 p.m.

Campus Tour

Current students will fill you in about life at Michigan Tech and answer your questions as they show you around campus.

Kick off your day with a welcome from some of our outstanding students.

9:45–10:30 a.m.

Financial Aid and Scholarships Session for Michigan Residents

Learn about financial aid programs for Michigan residents, including the Presidential Scholars Program and the Leading Scholars Award.

9:45 a.m.–Noon

Michigan Tech Showcase

Meet with department representatives to get details on majors, minors, undergraduate research, and study abroad opportunities. Representatives from student life, student activities, and the career center will also be available.

10 a.m.–4 p.m.

Admissions Office Open

Access our free online application and start the admission process while you’re on campus. Admissions staff members will be on hand to answer questions and provide the information you need.

10:30 a.m.–1 p.m.

Brunch in the Residence Halls

Redeem your complimentary meal pass (each guest will receive one) at your assigned residence hall.

11–11:45 a.m.

Financial Aid and Scholarships Session for Non-Michigan Residents

Learn about financial aid opportunities for non-Michigan residents, including the National Scholars Program and the Leading Scholars Award.

Noon–3 p.m.

Academic Department Visits

Visit the academic departments you’re considering. Enjoy hands-on exhibits, tours of facilities, and opportunities to talk with current students and faculty. A complete list of sessions and their locations will be available with your check-in materials.

12:45–2:45 p.m.

Residence Hall Tours

Explore any or all of our three residence halls with a current student as your guide. You’ll see student rooms, dining rooms, lounges, study areas, and more.
