General Manager and Senior Golf Professional

Assistant Golf Professional
Michigan Technological University’s Portage Lake Golf Course invites applications for the position of Assistant Golf Professional. The Assistant Golf Professional assists with the management and oversight of daily golf operations at Portage Lake Golf Course. All duties of the position shall be performed with a commitment to the highest level of customer service and total satisfaction of all customers.
Manager, Dining Services
Dining Service Manager is responsible for the oversight of a high volume residential food service operation. Assures that service and product offerings meet campus and guest needs by providing high quality products and excellent customer service in a cost effective manner. Will be responsible for developing and implementing cost controls, daily staffing and labor schedules, monitoring adherence to University and department policy and procedures, employee safety, food safety and sanitation, inventory management, providing leadership and mentorship to dining service employees, menu and recipe development and implementation, marketing, assisting in budget development and accessing and auditing financial information daily, weekly, monthly and annually to ensure budget goals are met and on track.
Sr. Administrative Aide
This position plays a key operational role within the department, providing oversight, management, and coordination of the residential access systems for the residential buildings; ensuring a highly accurate and precise operation. In addition, this position will assist the Director of Housing Auxiliary Operations and Residence Education and other department leaders in the organization of the department budget and ensure day-to-day financial transactions are efficient and accurate. This position's responsibilities are critical to the safety and security of the residential community and ensuring the smooth fiscal operations of the department. This position will require individuals to work independently, maintaining high levels of judgement, critical thinking, and a strong attention to detail that prioritizes the safety of residents and the efficiency of our financial operations.
Cook's Helper will provide support to dining service operations by assisting cooks in the proper preparation and help coordinate production of all menu items assigned by management with staff. This position will work to ensure that services are consistent with the mission and goals of the department and the university. This position will provide service excellence faculty, staff, students and guests.
Food Service Helper
Perform in areas of food service to include food preparation and production, including customer service, equipment operation, and cashier duties.
Parking Enforcement Agent
Under the direction of the Assistant Manager, this position will coordinate the operations, activities, and functions of the University's parking control program.
