Earn a Bachelor’s and a Master’s in Five Years

Jump-start your advanced education with the Accelerated Master’s Program in Forestry. It is designed for students who want to gain a competitive edge in their career, meeting academic and professional goals faster and more efficiently by taking courses concurrently.

The accelerated program offers a course-work option. It stresses understanding of ecosystem and organismal functions, with research topics ranging from climate change and invasive species to carbon production and the dynamics of wildlife and insect populations. Areas of study include forest ecology, forest soils, silviculture, tree improvement, forest wildlife ecology and management, economics, forest inventory, geographic information systems, growth and yield, wood science, and forest biology.
