Dr. Martin J. Caserio (BS MTU MY 1936, Hon PhD MTU 1961). Dr. Caserio began his career as a metallurgical chemist for Carnegie Illinois Steel in 1936 and joined GM as a metals researcher for AC Spark Plug in 1937. He served in increasing roles of responsibility at GM in the Delco Electronics Division, AC Spark Plugs, the GMC Truck and Coach Division, and the Pontiac Motor Division.
