Patent and Trademark Searching Workshops at the Van Pelt & Opie Library
The Van Pelt and Opie Library is offering patent and trademark searching workshops open to all Michigan Tech students, faculty and staff as well as community members.

Patent Searching—From noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday March 15 in Library 242 Click here to register. There are many reasons you may want or need to search for patents—because they contain a wealth of technical information, they can help you discover whether your invention is patentable or they can tell you about the intellectual property of a company.
After learning some basics about patents, we will explore ways to search for United States and International patents using both basic and advanced searching strategies.
