Attend the Fall Commencement Reception

The campus community is invited to join graduates and their families for a reception in the SDC Multi-Purpose Room directly after Midyear Commencement on Saturday, Dec. 10.

Flags at Half-staff

US flags throughout the state are to be lowered to half-staff today for Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day (Dec. 7, 1941). Flags will return to full-staff on Thursday, Dec. 8.

"A Choral Celebration" at the Rozsa

The Concert Choir presents "A Choral Celebration" at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 10, at the Rozsa Center.

The music will include sacred compositions both old and new, music of nature, songs for peace, as well as traditional spirituals.

General admission is $10, students $5, and Michigan Tech Students free.

SDC box office hours are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday to Friday; 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday; and noon to 8 p.m., Sunday. Don't Forget: Toys for Tots

The Student Service Center in the Administration Building will once again be the campus drop-off point for the Toys for Tots program. Gifts, which should be unwrapped, will be accepted until 4 p.m., Friday, Dec. 9.

Graduate School Lunch and Learn Scheduled

Do you know graduate students who are feeling overwhelmed and wondering how they can manage the demands of work, school and family?

If so, steer them to a presentation by Counseling and Wellness Services from noon to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 14, for tips on time management.

There will be soft drinks (soda and water), chips, and dessert; bring a lunch.
