Adjunct Professor Talks About Earthworms

Adjunct Professor Erik Lilleskov (SFRES) will present "Earthworms: Not Just for the Birds" from 6:30-7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 17, at the Portage Lake District Library.

Participants will learn that earthworms are ecosystem engineers that have huge impacts on soils and the ecosystems they inhabit, practice identifying them outside and build an earthworm home--including one for the children's area in the library.

Library programs are free and everyone is welcome to attend. For more information, contact the library at 482-4570 or visit .
