Bobby the “good guy” bartender started out as a radio announcer for WHDF in the 50’s. The station was located on the second floor above the bar. He worked with Ted Gast (retired owner of the State Farm Agency on College Ave), who was also a radio announcer for the station in those days.

I know there are a lot of stories about Bob’s tenure as a bartender, but those who knew him well also remember his dedication to caring for his mother.
