Snow Pirates

12451_l

This is the time of year when we start finding buried treasure under the remains of winter. I know I’m looking for most of a keyring. They’re quite annoyed with me at the grocery store since I can’t find my little rewards thingy. A colleague lost an iPhone a year or two ago in a snowdrift. Why is it we can never find these things again?

But this is also the time of year when icicles form impossible shapes, water cascades over sheets of ice along rivers, and the best of winter and spring help us to ignore the piles of sand and muck.

What treasures have you found, either items or sights?
