Our women’s broomball team name was the “Hanson Sisters.”  I think what might have been better is that my broomball broom was named “The Mood Swing.”

Fans would cheer “Go Nads!” I was a member/captain of the 4-time MTU Championship NADS broomball team from 1993–1998. Love thinking of all the memories had playing that sport outdoors up there in Houghton!

Our freshman girls team from DHH (1988/1989) was “PMS” (Physical Means of Sacrifice); we had some classy homemade sweatshirts with our team name!
