It was a busy weekend in West Michigan for our alumni and friends!

More than 100 fans came out to support our Michigan Tech Hockey Huskies as they took on Ferris State on Saturday. Before the game the group met up at Cranker’s Brewery for a pregame social with a special visit from head coach Joe Shawhan. They also raised $620 to go toward the West Michigan scholarships by raffling off a Michigan Tech Jersey. Many thanks for Mark Twilley ’11 and Chas Thompson ’91 for organizing the event.

On Sunday, the 12th consecutive year West Michigan alumni and friends filled Marie Catrib’s restaurant for brunch. Thanks to the Marie Catrib’s staff for coming in on a Sunday, normally their day off, to specially prepare the best Sunday buffet in the area. Many thanks to Mike DeJonge ’65 for organizing the event!
