The city of Hancock operates a motor transit service in the Houghton-Hancock area. The service area ranges from Portage Health to Ripley, throughout Hancock, the SDC, the MUB, Econofoods, WalMart, and more.

The city of Houghton operates route service and demand service in the Houghton-Hancock area and on campus at the MUB and Daniell Heights. Look for the red, white, and blue buses that are equipped with wheelchair lifts.
