Campus Emergency Phones
Emergency telephones are available throughout the campus. The telephones are easily identifiable, marked by a blue light and encased in a bright yellow box. Emergency phones can be found at the following locations:
- Intersection of Cliff Drive and US 41 near Lot 10
- MacInnes Drive (Near driveway to Portage Health Clinic)
- Daniell Heights at the intersection of Division and Woodmar
- Upper Daniell Heights, storage building
- East Wadsworth Hall, loading dock
- Fisher Hall, north entrance
- Lot 26 (commuter student parking), west and east walkway
- Central Stores lakefront, southeast corner of building
- Minerals and Materials Engineering (M&M) Building, north side
- U. J. Noblet Forestry Building, southeast corner, Lot 18
- J. R. Van Pelt and Opie Library, north side, northwest and northeast entrances
- Rekhi Hall, west side
- Administration Building, northeast vestibule

University Closure Guidelines
The president, vice president/provost, or their designated representative may close the University
due to unforeseen circumstances (examples might include prolonged power outage, prolonged loss
of heating capability, inclement weather). Students, faculty, and staff will be notified through the
University’s Safety First Alert system, local media, and the University website.
