A block of 750 reserved seats will be held for Michigan Tech students with a valid ID. The block is for all regular season home games.
Procedure:
Beginning at 12:00 pm on the Tuesday prior to the Friday/Saturday hockey series, tickets can be picked up from the Student Development Complex Box Office.
At the time of pick up students can view available seating locations. If a student would like to sit next to a friend, it is best for both the student and their friend to pick up tickets at the same time. Each student is required to show a valid Michigan Tech Student ID. Only one ticket will be distributed to each student. There is one exception; registered student organizations can follow the below procedure to obtain group (minimum group size is 10 attendees) tickets:
The procedure for the system will be:
1) Select one representative from your group to coordinate the tickets.
2) Group members planning to attend the game should give their first and last name along with their 16-digit Tech ID numbers to the representative (please do not e-mail your M-number).
3) The group representative will then e-mail those names and numbers in a single e-mail to hokenson@mtu.edu, along with the date of the game(s) being requested.
4) The Ticket Office will e-mail the group representative when the tickets are ready to be picked up.
Beginning at 6:00 pm on game day, if there are still tickets remaining in the block of 750, students should proceed to the Northwest entrance of the MacInnes Student Ice Arena. The remaining tickets in that block can be picked up only at this ticket location (student tickets will not be available at the Ticket Office on game nights). This is also the only location for students to enter with Experience Tech tickets.
If the game is not in a sellout situation, additional standing room only tickets will be made available sometime during or after the end of the first period.
Note: Michigan Tech Students can still purchase season tickets if they would like to be guaranteed the same seat location for every home game at a low price of $126 (a savings of 54% over the general public price).
