The Crisis Management Team is responsible for developing a comprehensive plan for dealing with the human side of any crisis that may occur on campus. The team will develop a systematic approach for emergency situations that involve students and/or faculty/staff that are involved with students.
In order to provide a safe campus environment, this committee will develop, maintain and refine: a multi-disciplinary crisis response team, education for university members regarding crisis prevention, provide a well-defined communication system in the event of a campus crisis, and maintain a common framework for dealing with crisis situations in order to return the campus to its pre-crisis level of functioning, as soon as possible.

The Crisis Management Committee addresses several topics and objectives throughout the year. Some recent objectives are as follows:
- Develop training modules for on-campus community
- Finalize the Emergency Response Plan and distribute
- Assessment of crisis training and communication
