End of Year Checklist

SUBJ: End of Year Organization Checklist

Once your organization has had its officer elections for Academic Year 12/13, please update your Involvement Link page. This is important!
It is unnecessary to update the “–l” email list-serves (presidents, treasurers, etc.). Starting in May, all organization group email will be done from Involvement Link. As long as your Involvement Link is updated, the email lists will automatically be rebooted.
Please verify with your advisor that they will be able to advise your organization in 12/13. If you choose a new advisor, please update Involvement Link accordingly.
If your treasurer is not returning in 12/13, please be sure your new treasurer’s name is added to the organization’s bank account.
Train your new officers in bookkeeping, budgeting, and completing applicable forms.
Your mailbox in MUB 106 must be emptied out by April 28, 2012, and anything remaining on this day will be disposed of or returned to sender. Any mail received for your organization during the summer months will remain in MUB 106 until fall semester unless you have one of your members available to pick it up.
Please be sure that all outstanding balances with the USG and other University departments are reconciled before the end of the year.
Registration for Keweenaw Day (IFC) and F’all Nighter (APO) are open. These are important recruitment events for your organization!

Please be sure your organization has uploaded your inventory to Involvement Link for tagging purposes. As a reminder, all organizations are required to upload this information in order register in the fall and thus access Student Activity Fee allocations.
