Project Title: Multidisciplinary Program in Environment, Technology, and Innovation

Abstract: This program would facilitate sustained multidisciplinary interaction between faculty and students on the relationships between environment, technology, and innovation. The program would encourage departments to launch a new undergraduate course option in Green Technology Innovation. The program would support a graduate group in Green Engineering, Science, and Policy. All degree-related efforts would be located in existing departments. The program would support research and teaching though activities such as a seminar series, a journal club, and graduate courses in advanced topics in policy, engineering and the sciences. The long-term purpose of the graduate group is to spawn collaborations in proposals and later research and to build a larger community of scholars and practitioners of green technology, science and policy.
