Project Title: Staff/Faculty Development via e-Learning

Abstract: MTU already has an active e-Learning platform, it's called WebCT. MTU should use this tool to enhance and improve it's faculty/staff development. Collaborative and interactive training can be done online, asynchronously and via the Internet. Recognized subject matter experts (SMEs) could (with help) create online modules that interested staff and faculty could complete, when time permitted, either at their desks or (if they wished) at home. No need to purchase new tools - just use an existing resource more effectively!
