Sustainability: Campus & Community Programs
Center for Educational Technology, Research and Assessment (CETRA)
CETRA is dedicated to educational improvement through linkages between cutting edge scientific and engineering research to classroom teachers. CETRA provides program and project assessment and evaluation; designs instructional programs in mathematics, science, technology, and social science based on educational research; develops technology-rich instruction; and provides support for the professional development of teachers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
Environmental Sustainability Committee
This committee works towards ensuring that the critical activities of Michigan Tech are ecologically sound, socially just and economically viable, and that they will continue to be so for future generations.
Educational Opportunity: Special Academic Programs
The goal of the Special Academic Programs Division is to provide a rewarding environment that enables its participants, the university community, and university alumni to realize their goals and potential, as well as to help them succeed in advancing the programs' mission.
AQIP Project — Carbon Footprint
Michigan Tech students and faculty are undertaking the massive task of estimating the University's carbon footprint. The long term goal of the study is to make recommendations to save energy. Click here for the full article.
