Commuter Parking and Vehicle Registration

Please only complete and submit this form if you live off-campus and commute.

The parking fee for commuting students is $25 per semester and $50 for the fall and spring semesters. This will be charged to your account and deducted from any financial aid, including Federal Direct Loans, Federal Pell grants, Federal SEOG, and Federal Perkins loans.

Michigan Technological University as a licensor hereby declares itself not responsible for personal injury or for fire, theft, damage to, or loss of such motor vehicle or contents thereof, or of any article left therein. Only a rental space license is granted hereby and bailment created. Card license holder is to park only between hours 7:00 AM and 12:00 AM while school is in session.

The non-transferable parking/I.D. card must be in your possession at all times. Loss or disintegration of the card must be reported promptly to Public Safety and Police Services. You may be charged for a replacement card.

Lost or stolen decals will not be reissued free of charge—you will be charged full price for a replacement.

This contract becomes void upon interruption or termination of enrollment at Michigan Technological University.

Receiving your Parking Decal

Parking decals can be picked up from Public Safety and Police Services, 206 MacInnes Drive.
