Student Organizations

Join a student organization. Network. Be a leader. Michigan Tech has pre-health related student groups that offer more volunteer opportunities, and the ability to network and work with student peers with the same interests as you. We asked the student presidents to introduce you to each of their organizations:

The MEDLIFE Michigan Tech chapter is part of an organization that works toward making medicine and education available to all, as well as developing safe homes and communities for low-income families in South America and Africa. Students in MEDLIFE fund-raise in order to volunteer for service learning trips, where they work with MEDLIFE staff and professionals to deliver medical care, education, and development to communities in Peru, Ecuador, Tanzania, and Nicaragua. MEDLIFE raises awareness of global health, education, and development during fund-raising, and also participates in multiple smaller volunteer events throughout the semesters.
