Biography
Casey Huckins is an associate professor in Michigan Tech’s Department of Biological Sciences and program director for the Peace Corps Master’s International program in Biological Sciences at Michigan Tech. He also advises and serves on a number of PCMI student advisory committees across campus.
Casey’s research and teaching focuses are on ecology and restoration in lakes, streams, coastal wetlands, and the ecosystems that connect them. His research expertise includes the subjects of fish ecology, biology, and functional morphology; ecology of lakes and streams; effects of land use on ecological systems; and biomonitoring for research and restoration.
