Online Learning at Michigan Tech

Your academic career at Michigan Tech begins with Orientation. Orientation is an excellent time to familiarize yourself with available resources.

Graduate Student Orientation

Students who are blending on-campus and online learning will participate in new student orientation. Students who are online learners only may complete an online training and view our online resources to receive the required training and orientation.

Undergraduate Student Orientation

Students who are supplementing their on-campus experience with online courses participate in orientation week. Learn more through our Admissions website or through our Orientation website.

Dual enrollment students receive a special orientation and will automatically be contacted by the Admissions Office.

Nondegree-seeking students do not need to participate in any formal orientation. General questions can be directed to the Admissions Office:
