Strategic Planning
The main focus of the newly-created position of Chief Information Officer is intended to be strategic planning. Michigan Tech invests a substantial amount of money in IT, and IT enables almost every aspect of our daily lives in education and research. We wish to invest that money wisely to obtain the greatest benefits, campus-wide, for all of our faculty, staff and students.
This PDF document describes the advisory committee structure that has been set up with broad input from campus constituents. As the committee work starts to bear fruit, results and reports will be made available on these pages.
