If you have a prepared release, include your name and phone number so the editor can contact you with any questions. You can e-mail it to ttopics@mtu.edu (please!) or send a typed, hard copy (that's OK, too) via campus mail to Tech Topics, University Relations.

If you are mailing a release from off campus, the address is Tech Topics, Michigan Technological University, 1400 Townsend Drive, Houghton, MI 49931-1295. Before you submit a release you'd like included in a regular feature (such as "On the Road" or "In Print") it's a good idea to read the feature so you know what information you should send.

The deadline to submit material for publication is one week prior to the anticipated publication date. In other words, get your information to the editor by 5:00 p.m. Friday if you want it in the following Friday's edition.
