President Mroz Hosts Emeriti Faculty

They spent decades teaching at Tech, and on Wednesday, Aug. 12, 36 emeriti faculty members and their spouses returned to campus to attend a luncheon in their honor, hosted by President Glenn Mroz. The annual luncheon honoring emeriti faculty is a long-standing tradition at Michigan Tech.
President Mroz welcomed the former faculty, and Provost Max Seel gave them a campus update.
An emeritus faculty member is one who has retired from active professional life but retains an honorary title. Michigan Tech has 148 living and 42 deceased emeriti faculty.
