Math Placement—Transfer Students
If you have math transfer credits from another university, these credits will be used to determine your math placement. In this case, you do not need to take the placement exam.
If you have not taken a previous college math course, you may either
- Take the online placement test, or
- Defer to your initial math placement based on your ACT or SAT score.
If you do not have an ACT or SAT score and have not taken a previous college math course, plan to take the online placement test during the spring testing window.
