Biography

Cafer Caliskan received PhD (2010) and MS (2005) degrees in mathematics from Florida Atlantic University, and an integrated BS & MS in teaching mathematics from Boshporus University, in Turkey, in 2003. He is currently a visiting assistant professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Michigan Tech. His research interests include combinatorics (finite geometry, graph theory), coding theory and cryptology.
