Printing and Photocopying
Coin-Operated Machines
Photocopying, microform-image printing and networked computer printing services are available in the Library. Coin-operated machines take nickels, dimes, and quarters. You may also use your Tech ID card with at least $1.00 (one dollar) of Express Cash available to pay for copies at designated machines.
Change Machines
Bill changing machines are located on the first and second floors. They accept one ($1.00) and five ($5.00) dollar bills.
Computer Network Printing
There are laser printers located on the first and second floors. The cost for printing from this machine is 10¢ per page. Staff at the Library and IT Service Desk can guide you through the process.
Photocopiers
Self-service photocopiers are located in the center of each of the Library's four floors. Photocopies cost 10¢ per page.
A photocopier that accepts billing codes from Michigan Tech Departments is located on the garden level. Departments must contact the Library and IT Service Desk to arrange for billing code service.
Transparencies
Transparency copies are available from the Library and IT Service Desk at a cost of 50¢ each.
Microfilm and Microfiche Readers/Printers
Microform machines are located on the second floor and garden level in the Archives Department. Using the machines to read microform materials is free.
Print copies can be made from the microform image. Copies made on the second floor machines cost 20¢ per page. The cost to make copies from the machines located in the Archives Department is 30¢ per page plus a sales tax of 6%. After all copying is completed by the patron, the total amount due may be paid at the Archives service desk.
