A variety of technologies are available to assist library users with special needs:
TDD2700 Telecommunications Device – facilitates telephone use for persons who are deaf or hearing impaired. Available at the Library and IT Service Center, 1st floor.
Chroma CCD Magnifier – used for enlarging small objects and printed books. Located at the north end of the 2nd floor.
Kurzweil 3000 – comprehensive reading, writing and learning software solution for any struggling reader, including individuals with learning difficulties, such as dyslexia, attention deficit disorder or those who are English Language Learners. All public computers in the library have access to the Kurzweil software.
