Instruction Rooms

Two rooms on the 2nd floor, 242 and 244, are designed as hands-on labs for instruction and workshops. Both labs are equipped with presentation technology, dry erase boards, and individual computing workstations. Each instruction room can fit up to 25 students.

E-mail instrlib-l@mtu.edu to schedule classes on library resources, search strategies and skills, or to request customized workshops for your department. During non-peak library instruction periods the rooms are available for faculty and staff to reserve for single events. 

The computers in both rooms are available for individual use by Michigan Tech students, faculty and staff when not reserved for instruction. Use your Tech Express Card in the swipe to gain access to the labs during regular library hours.
