Need help with your research? Immediate assistance is available for the faculty, students, and staff of Michigan Technological University, as well as our patrons from the local community, during normal hours of operation. Library personnel are available to assist you in person, by phone, or through our Ask Us! Instant Messaging (IM) service.
Monday through Friday, between 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, you can expect a response within 60 minutes. If your inquiry is especially challenging, we will promptly let you know of any delay. After 5:00 pm, you will receive a response the following day, between 9:00 am and 10:00 am. On the weekends, questions submitted to reference/research will receive a response on Monday morning between 9:00 am and 10:00 am. If you have an urgent question about the library, unrelated to reference/research, please send your inquiries to email@example.com.
